Spirit and Wellness

There may be many differing viewpoints as to what the spirit entails, but for us, it represents “experiencing God” from within. There are a few ways to achieve spiritual wellness, below is how Zoe Life approaches it.

Belonging

Having a sense of belonging to a group is something that has been important to humans for centuries.

One of the easy ways to achieve spiritual wellness is to make yourself part of a group (Satsang) that understands and can help you to have communion with the Spirit. This part of spiritual wellness connects you to God and same-minded people.

Meditation

Meditation is the practice of training the mind, to focus your attention on the indwelling and surrounding presence of God’s Spirit. At Zoe Life, we do encourage people to take part in our guided group meditation.

Mind and Wellness

Your mind is where you form thoughts, and memories, learn new tasks, form new relationships and develop emotions. These elements all play a role in your overall health and wellness in various ways.

A mind that is in balance enables one to be authentically happy, in touch with their true feelings, and be mentally free from any worry, financial strain social pressure, or negative thoughts. There are a few ways to achieve Mind wellness, below is how Zoe Life approaches it.

Sharing

In our gatherings (Satsang) on Sundays we give a new perspective to the mind on the reality it lives in and how your beliefs are the unseen energy behind your experiences and your behavior.

 It may sound like a scary thought, but your beliefs are playing the biggest role in how you experience your life.  If you want to change the world and how you experience it, you must change your mind

Meditation

Body and Wellness

A body that is in balance enables one to be physically free from pain and discomfort, which in return helps you to be in a good mind and spirit. There are a few ways to achieve Body wellness, below is how Zoe Life approaches it.

Physical Activity

Your activity levels play a major role in your health and wellness. At Zoe Life, we offer Yoga classes and Thermotherapy.

 Yoga is a series of stretches and poses that you do with breathing techniques. It offers the powerful benefits of exercise. And since yoga is gentle, anyone can do it, regardless of their age or fitness level.

Thermotherapy- The aim of thermotherapy is to alter tissue temperature in a specific area over time for the purpose of inducing a desired biological response in the tissues.

We use Heat (deep infrared sauna) and Cold (cold water shower) ending in our sun-heated relaxation pool.

Healthy Eating  

A healthy diet is the foundation of a healthy body. A healthy diet also contributes to weight management for many adults who struggle with obesity and weight gain.  In addition, a sound diet is important for a healthy lifestyle, behaviors, as well as mental wellness.

At Zoe Life, we sell some healthy products and offer healthy recipes. We also have Health retreat days where we do yoga, meditation, thermotherapy, and give cooking lessons.
